The Convention Begins
80,000 blondes gather in a football stadium for the “Blondes Are Not Stupid” Convention. The leader takes the stage and announces, “We are here to prove to the world that blondes are not stupid. Can I have a volunteer?”
The First Challenge
A blonde cautiously makes her way through the crowd and steps up onto the stage. The leader asks her, “What is 15 plus 15?” After thinking for 15 to 20 seconds, she confidently replies, “Eighteen!”
The crowd is disappointed but not disheartened. 80,000 blondes begin to cheer, “Give her another chance! Give her another chance!”
The Second Attempt
The leader, acknowledging the effort it took to gather everyone, agrees to try again. He says, “Since we’ve brought 80,000 of you here and the world press is watching, I suppose we can give her another chance.”
He asks, “What is 5 plus 5?”
She pauses for almost 30 seconds before answering, “Ninety?”
The leader, perplexed, sighs in disappointment. The blonde starts to cry. The crowd, undeterred, shouts even louder, “GIVE HER ANOTHER CHANCE! GIVE HER ANOTHER CHANCE!”
The Final Question
Despite his uncertainty, the leader decides to give her one last chance. He says, “Okay, just one more try—What is 2 plus 2?”
She closes her eyes and thinks. After a full minute, she finally answers, “Four?”
The Surprising Reaction
The stadium erupts with excitement. All 80,000 blondes jump to their feet, waving their arms and stomping. They scream in unison, “Give her another chance! Give her another chance!”
