Sean Hannity Engaged To ‘Fox & Friends’ Co-Host Ainsley Earhardt

Fox News Channel hosts Sean Hannity and Ainsley Earhardt have taken a significant step in their relationship: Hannity proposed to Earhardt over Christmas at their home church, marking a new chapter in their journey together.

The couple received the heartfelt blessing and support of their children, who, according to Hannity and Earhardt, “couldn’t be happier” for them, their network reported.

“We are overjoyed and so thankful to our families for all of their love and support during this wonderful time in our lives,” the couple said.

Earhardt and Hannity, who initially connected through their shared deep faith, have made placing God at the center of their relationship a priority. According to the couple, proposing at their home church was the “perfect place” to take this significant step.

Following the engagement, they met with their minister to celebrate the moment, Fox reported.

Although they prefer to keep their personal lives private, Earhardt and Hannity have successfully navigated their long-distance relationship through weekend trips between New York, where Earhardt is based, and Florida, where Hannity resides. Both share a deep respect for each other’s careers and have secured long-term deals with FOX News Media.

Earhardt will continue co-hosting FOX & Friends from New York, while Hannity will remain the host of his primetime show, Hannity, from Florida.

Both Earhardt and Hannity were previously married and “still get along well” with their ex-spouses and “everyone is supportive of each other,” according to the couple.

“We actually made them aware this was happening ahead of time,” they said, per Fox.

The outlet also reported that Earhardt and her previous husband have a friendly shared relationship in raising their daughter that “works seamlessly.”

Hannity has dominated his timeslot as the top-rated program for the past 15 years, making him the longest-running cable news host in history. A Fox News legacy host, he joined the network at its inception in 1996, initially co-hosting Hannity & Colmes.

Beyond his primetime show, Hannity connects with millions of listeners through his highly successful radio program, syndicated on 750 stations nationwide.

Hannity recently expanded his portfolio with a new FOX Nation show, Sean, featuring long-form interviews. The show debuted earlier this month with a conversation with Sylvester Stallone and his wife, Jennifer Flavin Stallone.

Hannity also hosted the fifth annual FOX Nation Patriot Awards, celebrating everyday heroes for their service and patriotism.

Earhardt, who joined the network in 2007, has been a co-host of FOX & Friends since 2016. The popular three-hour morning show has held the No. 1 spot for over 20 consecutive years. An accomplished author, Earhardt has penned four New York Times bestsellers, including three No. 1 children’s books, and also hosts Ainsley’s Bible Study on FOX Nation.

Earlier this year, she received an honorary Doctorate of Humane Letters from the University of South Carolina in recognition of her achievements in broadcast journalism and authorship.

Meanwhile, Fox News and Fox Business host Neil Cavuto, who has worked at the networks for 28 years, announced his departure after his show “Your World” last week. The anchor’s contract expired at the end of the month.

“Cavuto is one of the few remaining on-air talent still with the network after joining at its inception in the late 1990s. A beloved presence at Fox, his exit is not the consequence of any bad blood, but rather an increasingly common industry reality: Cavuto was offered a new contract, which he declined to accept his new deal. Fox wanted him to stay on board, but a source explained that he ultimately decided to leave,” Mediaite reported.

“The cable news industry has seen a season of belt-tightening that has resulted in similar departures of star journalists who have opted to quit their networks instead of taking a smaller salary. While Fox News is on much better footing than its competitors — thanks to continued ratings dominance and a successful multi-platform strategy — even Rupert Murdoch’s news behemoth is not immune to the new realities of the business,” the outlet added.
